Creating a Magical First Birthday for Melody
Some celebrations are all about creating a world of wonder, and Melody's first birthday was exactly that.
Inspired by soft pastel colours, playful Baby Shark characters and a touch of whimsical magic, this setup transformed the space into a dreamy celebration designed especially for a little girl turning one.
The styling featured a custom backdrop, layered balloon installations, oversized balloons, character cut-outs, themed desserts and carefully selected decorative details that tied everything together. Soft shades of pink, lavender, yellow and baby blue created a cheerful palette while still feeling elegant and visually balanced.
One of our favourite elements was the way the balloon styling flowed throughout the entire space. Rather than creating a single backdrop, the design extended across the celebration area, helping to immerse guests in the experience from every angle.
The dessert display became a focal point, surrounded by colourful balloons, themed treats and playful details that brought the Baby Shark theme to life while maintaining a soft, modern aesthetic.
